About HAT 4.1
=============

For a complete list of changes since previous final release,
see the Release Notes on HAT Beta Site.

Three changes since 4.0.4 may cause problems on current
installations:

1. The file format has changed.
HAT 4.0.4 and earlier cannot read HAT 4.1 files, and HAT 4.1
cannot save files in 4.0.4 format. You will not be able to
open HAT-files produced by a HAT 4.1 program with earlier
   versions of HAT.

2. The syntax of HAT Commands has changed.
If you use HAT Commands, you should check that the script
does conform with the new syntax, before using it together
with HAT 4.1. If you have a "HAT factory" that automatically
produces HAT-files, you should consider continuing to use
   the older HAT version.

3. The program file name has changed.
The 32-bit version of HAT was previously named HAT32.exe.
We have now renamed it simply to HAT.exe.
This change affects shortcuts, command line commands and
the registry. You need to reassociate the .hat and .hax
file extensions and restart OLE-server. Both these can be
done in HAT, by choosing File/Preferences command and
using the buttons in "System Setup".

4. We currently plan to support 32-bit version only.
If you think that 16-bit version would be necessary for
   you, please contact Business Navigator.
